Hi, I'm Jane!

I'm a homeschooling mom, former university educator, and the creator of Jane Shares, a place where faith, family, and gentle learning come together.

Jane, the homeschooling mom behind Jane Shares
this is me

Before homeschooling became our way of life, I spent nearly two decades teaching at the university. I loved education, but becoming a mother taught me that the most meaningful lessons often happen around the dining table, during nature walks, while reading good books, and in the quiet moments we share together.

Our homeschool journey changed the way I see learning.

Inspired by Charlotte Mason's philosophy, I discovered that education is more than completing lessons or collecting achievements. It is about cultivating good habits, nurturing curiosity, and helping children delight in God's beautiful world.

Today, I create printable resources that make learning simple, meaningful, and enjoyable for families. From nature journals and copywork to character-building activities and gentle homeschool tools, every resource is designed to encourage children to slow down, observe, think deeply, and grow in wisdom.

But Jane Shares is more than a collection of printables.

It is where I share our family's homeschooling journey.

  • The books we're reading.
  • The lessons we're learning.
  • The beauty we find in ordinary days.
  • The joys and challenges of raising lifelong learners.

My hope is to encourage parents who desire a peaceful, faith-filled home where learning becomes a joyful way of life rather than a race to finish the next lesson.

Welcome to Jane Shares.
I'm so glad you're here.
