And honestly⦠we love it here.
Homeschooling and working from home gave us a rhythm we don't want to trade β slower days, less rushing, and more time together.
Learning that isn't crowded
In a Charlotte Mason method kind of life, learning isn't meant to feel crowded. It's meant to feel full β rich with meaning, beauty, and space to breathe.
One class at a time
So when it comes to enrichment classes, we choose carefully. Our daughter started ballet at four, tried swimming, fell in love with K-pop, and now dreams of gymnastics β but we say yes to one at a time.
Not just because of the cost, but because we want her to truly enjoy the process, not feel rushed from one thing to another.
Enrichment means more life
Because in this season, enrichment doesn't mean more classes. It means more life.
It looks like watercolor afternoons, slow music playing in the background, nature walks under the sun, and unhurried days at home.
Childhood doesn't need to be busy to be meaningful.
We protect our rhythm
We protect our rhythm. We protect our peace. Some days, you'll just find her outside on her scooter, playing with friends, or joining me for a simple nature walk β and that's more than enough for us.
This may not be for everyone, but this is what works for our family π€
- β¨ Less rushing, more presence
- β¨ Less pressure, more joy
And we'll choose this kind of life again and again. If you're also choosing a slower, more intentional childhood for your kids β you're not alone.
